Firstly, I'm sorry if I created offense by asking this question. I'm just a confused but curious teen from a rural town.
As for the question, gender can either be be biological or a social construct. Nowadays people consider gender to be a social construct rather than biological.
Assuming that is true wouldn't that mean being transgender is just a social construct that reinforces stereotypes and roles which have oppressed people in the past and is becoming meaningless in the ever more progressive modern world?
