After a 2.5gb update, I was met with a weird tutorial for a first time player. Since I've got 1550 hours in the game, I thought that was a bit strange, but did the tutorial.
It wants me to sign up for an epic account. Which requires accepting the Epic Games TOS and Privacy Policy. Neither of which can be clicked or read from this confirmation screen btw.
In the name of science I've done it anyway, and I then get the option to Add Friends from Steam to the Epic account, which I chose not to do, because who am I to give their details.
After this the friends list from Steam is still there so it doesn't seem like an issue, just one that's implied to make you want to add them to your epic account or something I guess.
I'm really quite put off by the fact you're being asked to accept terms and conditions which you can't read.
I always knew this stupid change was coming when Epic bought Psynoix, but just hoped as a Steam player I wouldn't have to take part in it. It just seems like a cheap way for Epic to get more "accounts" in number only to be able to boast about.
EDIT: A video of the terms and conditions being unclickable/unreadable.
