Not really into cancel culture, but I'm not sure how anyone can support such a caveman like point of view like this. Why can't, you know, all races be treated with respect in 2020, and a person be based on their character?
If this was a white celebtrity, backlash would be swift and forceful, and I feel that it's disappointing that both Nick Cannon would say something so ignorant and that the media hasn't been treating this as they would in other incidences.
But maybe I'm wrong. I support discussion in the comments.
Edit: thank you gracious platinum awarder. Much appreciated, although I'm not sure if it was deserve on a simple man like myself.
Additionally, I'm not saying to cancel Nick. I'm basically saying that I believe we as informed and educated people show awknowledge that many larger news stations have only referred to his comments as "anti-Semitic" and ignore the words he used in my title. I believe, therefore, we should be extra critical of him, the news stations who are vague in title descriptions (for those of you who don't understand what I mean, here is an Inside Edition video titled "Nick Cannon From 'Wild 'n Out' for Speech Some Say is Hateful" https://youtu.be/EFagsGtn7MI ), and those who defend him. And yes, freedom of speech exists. That is why we can be critical.
Here's a link to his rant, and the comments I'm mentioning occur near the two minute mark.
